Not always... Finishes come in HI- GLOSS (Shiny), or MATTE (flat, dull).
Texture can also be added, or not added, for desired results (Non-Skid or Smooth)
Yes. Some more than others. Our team utilizes ventilation and wears the necessary respiratory equipment.
Cleaner that are light in chemicals, specially crafted for resins/ quartz/ granite for countertops, and your usual Pine Sol or Fabulouso cleaner for the floors. one clean will bring them right back to life
Yes, but not as a sealer. epoxy does not do well when exposed to the elements. For a body coat and primer, yes. If epoxy is used to seal, it will get brittle and yellow over time.
some contractors will take advantage of the customer not knowing what they want or need. I know what system works, and which will fail long-term. Skipping steps will surely disappoint. So, I avoid that by installing each system to last as long as possible.

Using resins, we can form to any surface. Minimal demolition/ removal involved. Each layer is waterproof and durable
System includes: 1.) Preparation of the substrate/ surface by way of Grinding with diamond blades or Shotblasted to desired Surface Prep Level. *Skipping this step could result in coating "Delaminating". (Popping up)
2.) Patching of blowouts, cracks, or any major holes. Fill all voids with Flexible paste, ending with placing Fiberglass on all cracks. *Skipping this step could result in coating "delaminating". (Popping up)
3.) Applying an epoxy Primer; Moisture/Vapor Barrier (MVB). This "membrane" suffocates the surface and is used as a bonding agent for the following layers. *Skipping this step could result in coating "Delaminating". (Popping up)
4.) After the primer layer is properly prepared, the next layer would be the body coat. This layer gives strength and durability to a coating when objects are dropped upon them. also from wear and tear of foot traffic. *Skipping this step leaves behind a thin coating, more vulnerable to chipping when objects are dropped on it. Those open holes get larger after time, and "delamination" occurs.
5.) The Seal Coat goes on top, applied efficiently to ensure ALL areas are sealed correctly. In most cases, a second sealer will be added just to ensure longevity.
Depends on reliable products, the proper preparation, and the right installer. These important factors make the difference between a quick floor and quality floor.
Most coatings are 8 hours. some are 24 hours. some are within minutes. Depends on which system and what time frame you have to work with.
coatings are scratch "Resistant", but will scuff if heavy items are dragged across the surface or the small rocks on the bottom of shoes drag across. Added texture helps reduce scuffs.
Epoxy will not be reliable outside, due to its stiff character. Because of the thermal shock and micro movements, Poly's and Acrylics are used in outdoor areas.
No, there are many size textures to suite your needs. Beginning from a rough 16 grit up to superfine grits. Can also be used with rubber texture, for a softer feel.
Warranty covers material malfunction and incorrect installation. Does not cover damage made by structural movements, damage from outside force, or natural acts of God.
